How to make your views known to the Parish Council
At the start of every meeting of the Planning Committee there is a slot for public participation when any member of the public may make their views known. All members of the public are welcome as observers.
Written comments on any planning application can be forwarded to the Parish Clerk- please quote the reference number stated on the relevant application- by mail to: Parish Clerk, Burley Parish Council, The John Squire Room, Queen's Hall, Main Street, Burley in Wharfedale, LS29 7QY or by email to clerk@burleyparishcouncil.co.uk.
How to view Planning Applications
A list of the applications to be considered at the next Planning Committee meeting can be viewed on the Planning Committee page by clicking on the latest agenda.
Paper copies of the plans may be viewed every Wednesday between 9:30am and 11:30am at The Parish Office, the John Squire Room (within the Queen’s Hall). (The office is currently closed to the public due to Covid restrictions - please email the Clerk on clerk@burleyparishcouncil.co.uk).
The Parish Council’s Planning Committee holds regular meetings. These are listed in the Library, the Parish Office, and on this website. Residents are very welcome to attend all meetings.
