Annual Parish Meeting
The Parish Council is required by Statute to hold an annual meeting to report on its activities during the past year. It is also a chance for residents to raise issues with the Parish Council and to ask questions of the Parish Councillors.
Whilst new emergency legislation has been passed to enable Parish Councils to meet and make decisions remotely (The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020), Parish Meetings are not included in these Regulations. Therefore the Annual Parish Meeting is not permitted to meet remotely and it has therefore been postponed until further notice.
